Trouble In The Jackson Household
WTVF-TV in Nashville reports that Alan Jackson's daughter Alexandra "Ali" Jackson, age 20, was arrested early on Wednesday morning after police say she assaulted an officer during a traffic stop in Nashville. After Ali was booked on charges of resisting arrest, assault, and underage drinking, she was bonded out at around 5 AM local time. Police said she was the passenger in an SUV that was stopped for speeding on 12th Avenue South. According to an affidavit, Ali got out of the vehicle and started to argue with the police officers. According to police, she refused their requests for her to get back in the vehicle, and then hit one of the officers in the chest. The affidavit also stated that after Jackson was cuffed, she told police that "Her father would do anything she wanted him to do." Ali was released on a $35,000 bond and her court date is set for September 23. Her father was at the Station Inn on 12th Avenue South on Tuesday night to celebrate the release of his latest record The Bluegrass Album.
